There may be events on the Lochac discord. See Facebook for updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">UOW<\/span><strong> Wednesday meet ups<\/strong>. What we do changes weekly, we can play games, teach medieval arts, and occasionally have heavy combat at building 24 G01 from 7:30pm til 10pm Wednesdays during Autumn and Spring session. It has already started for 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fencing<\/strong> has paused. Training will happen every two weeks, Sunday 2pm-4pm, with doors opening as early as 1:30. There will be an occasional class on making the armour and the possibility of having heavy fighting late in the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Nowra<\/span> has a meet up on the first Saturday of the month, the location can change, check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/157856887603531\/\">Adora<\/a> facebook page for information. In Basin View, it has <strong>heavy fighting, heavy armour making<\/strong>, and a time to craft and talk. Cost unknown, possibly $5 for lunch +$10 for non SCA members.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1607021006121365\/?active_tab=about\">March&#8217;s<\/a> event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is <strong>fighter practice<\/strong> on Monday night in Sydney. It is an SCA event in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Marrickville<\/span>, at the Addison Road community centre every Monday except after an event. The main activities are heavy fighting and fencing training, but there&#8217;s also a bit of socialising. Last checked it was a $5 entry fee to help the cost of booking the hall plus $10 for insurance for non SCA members. This may change without me knowing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">University of Sydney<\/span> has an <strong>Arts and science<\/strong> workshop on Tuesday after 5pm: holme building, meeting room 1. It&#8217;s hosted by their medieval group, which is also part of the SCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/465522586945771\/\">Dence Park<\/a> is a Monthly <strong>Arts and Science<\/strong> in Sydney<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Epping<\/span> Creative Centre, Dence Park, 26 Stanley Road, Epping. 10 am to 4 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corona Virus NoteAll in person events postponed until further notice.
